By John Macdonald.
According to Ephesians chapter 2 verse 8 our very salvation depends on believing that Jesus died to take away our sins and that repentance enables God's grace to rest upon us and gives us entry into His presence and eternal life. We are saved by faith. No one can please God except by having faith in Jesus and His atoning sacrifice on the Cross.
In Ephesians chapter 6 verse 16 we learn of our great battle with our sworn enemy, Satan. He comes against our very lives and God's plans for our lives. He comes against our family; our finances; our health; our children and our work situations. When we attacks we are to place the shield of faith, that is the Word of God, over all our situations and circumstances. Using the shield of faith we are well able to destroy all the fiery attacks of the Evil One. It is a battle that through God's Word and the Holy Spirit's direction that we win. Why? We win because Jesus won the battle on the Cross and we learn to live in the complete victory He won for us.By faith it is not a maybe victory but a complete routing of His evil attacks. However, we must always be vigilant and strong in faith through God's Word.
As Christians our aim must always be to please God. At times we fail to do so but it must be our vision and our goal. In Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6 we are told that without faith we cannot please God. Why is this so? Because God is a faith working God whose children must always desire to be faith filled people in order to fulfill God's purposes and promises in their lives.
James chapter 5 verse 15 tells us that the prayer of faith will heal the sick. When the prayer of faith is prayed over the sick our confidence must not be in medicine or experiences or circumstances but in God's Word. While other things can play a part in assisting our situation our supreme confidence must be in God and His healing through faith filled prayers founded on who God is and the Bible.
Hebrews chapter 10 tells us that God is always faithful to answer His Word through the prayers of His children. At times we can tend to lose sight of our faith through bad circumstances and situations; other peoples' words; even our own thoughts and ideas but God's faith is ever present to sustain us. We connect with God's faith through His Word and the faith that arises in our spirits as we are willing to walk by faith.
Hope is not faith. Hope is a vision; even a glorious one that is always tomorrow. Faith is now. Faith is the substance that brings reality to our lives. We must believe in faith filled' Bible backed Words now. Why? Today is the day of salvation. Tomorrow may well be too late. You have to live in the knowledge that God and His Word is working on your behalf now.
Faith is not presumption! If God's Word does not back your understanding and the Holy Spirit has not told you to believe certain ideas then it is not faith backed by God's Word but presumption from your own mind or other peoples' understandings.
What do you do? you first wait upon the Holy Spirit to lead you. Then by faith start reading the Word even several times over but not too much material at one time. perhaps only a few verses at a time will be sufficient. Next you meditate on the Word of God very carefully; getting understanding as the Holy Spirit convicts and directs.
Next it is important to try to learn sections of God's Word by heart; Perhaps only one or two verses at a time. repeat the verses over and over daily, until they become a vital part of your thinking. Learn appropriate verses for finances; for healing; or work or family relationships. We now need to apply them by confessing them over the relative situation at hand. As faith arises in your spirit, the Holy Spirit is able to take these Words to give you fresh understanding and discernment. You will then know that these faith filled words are already bringing God's faith filled purposes to pass.
Walking by faith to fulfill God's purposes for your life is essential living for all obedient Christians. Only God and His Word can fulfill God's purposes for you and give your life the fulfillment and contentment the way God intended you to live.
Your entering into eternal life and ability to believe began by faith when you first accepted Jesus.
It can be a long road to full victory. It will be a road of many battles but it always brings victory to those who keep on believing because God and His Word are the only way that your faith will bring you victory.
Keep on walking and living by faith in God and His Word.

by John Macdonald It is essential that we learn to live by God's faith. This understanding is first promoted in the Old Testament in Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 4. A reiterating of this knowledge occurs in the New Testament in Romans chapter 1 verse 17. Paul reveals that God's righteousness is revealed through His Word as we walk in His faith. The just and redeemed people are to live by faith.
Well said but how can this happen? How can faith be used and increased day by day in our ordinary routines of life?
Paul informs us how to do this. In Romans chapter 10 verse 17 he tells us that faith comes by us hearing. Not hearing just as we hear a sound of wind or a passing car, but rather by hearing the Word of God in our soul and in our spirit. Not just hearing on a flesh level but a deep understanding of who God is as revealed in His Word.
This reading must be a daily practice in order to develop our faith. It is much like running practice for a race or studying our text for an exam or developing a ball skill for a game. The Bible needs to be constantly read on a daily basis. It needs to be continually meditated on. It requires confession over every trial of life. It not only takes diligent practice and effort but also requires our undivided attention often at the expense of other even decent activities so that we can grow in the process of His Godly faith.
Faith grows like a muscle. The more you exercise it in the right way the more your faith grows.
Without faith you cannot please God. He rewards those who are diligent in His Word. Diligence does not just mean reading the Word and thinking it sounds good. you must put it daily into practice by meditating on the Word and confessing the Word. You must believe that Jesus is a rewarder of those who truly believe that He is and do what He tells them to do. Hebrews chapter 11 verse 1 informs us that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
Walking by faith never means living presumptuously. It means trusting in the Word of a great and wonderful God who loves all His creation, especially those who turn to Him. They must be willing to forsake their pride and trust in God and be obedient in what he asks them to do.
you cannot be a waverer, believing in God to intervene on your behalf one day and the next day going back to trust in the flesh and your own devices. We are to ask in faith not doubting. Those who doubt are like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. James chapter 1 verse 6 makes this abundantly clear.
God does perform miracles for His creation but miracles are not the day to day pattern. No where in God's Word are we told to live daily by miracles but we are told that God wants His people to walk by faith believing that He will do what He has promised.
When God tells you something and write it down so you don't quickly forget it. Refer to what you have been told today or over a period of time and note the date that you found God speak to you. Then thank Him for the wonderful progress He has made in your life.

What is the purpose of your healing; The real purpose? It is to glorify our father through faith in Jesus and His miraculous healing power obtained for us on the Cross of Calvary. Surely this will bring to us complete healing - body, soul and spirit. It may take some time but allow God's Word to run its healing course. God's healing will always work if we obey the Holy Spirits leading in our life.
To enable God's healing power to enliven and heal our lives it is essential to repent of wrong thoughts and attitudes and actions against other people. Come before God's throne and worship Him and tell Him you are sorry for any bitterness in your soul against Him and against other people. Some routes of bitterness can go back a long way in your life. The Holy Spirit will bring to your mind the things that are essential for you to repent of. In many cases the persons that you held a grudge against have gone from this life but you still need to forgive so that it doesn't remain a hindrance to your healing. Remember you don't want to have any blockages to your healing.
It is so important that we have a sincere attitude of expecting our healing from the Lord. This may take some time - even months or years. Keep believing! Our God is always faithful and always answers your prayers but we must believe through faith in God's Word. Our goal must be like the people in 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 12b. 'I know in whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day'.
Finally keep praising and worshiping the Lord. He alone is well able to bring to pass what you have committed to Him. He alone is worthy to receive all your praise and worship for He alone is the great healer of all who believe in Him. God desires and is able to heal you and by your faith aligned with His faith; He will.
Is anything too hard for the Lord? The unequivocal answer is absolutely not. no form of injury or disease is too great for the Lord to heal. Our response must be Lord I trust you and know by faith in your Word that you are well able. You must believe because according to His Word He is faithful and completely willing and has ordained and desires for you to be healed. You must believe by faith that he will! Whatsoever you will ask in Jesus name He will do so that the Father is glorified in the Son. thank you Father that you are glorified through Jesus in my healing.

However to have the faith required for healing we have to overcome the world, the flesh and the Devil. it must be put into constant practice.
You read the Word, particularly those related to healing. You then meditate it or think about it. You must also be willing to learn it by heart so that you can have the Word in your spirit for every occasion. it is important to confess or even speak it out aloud over every needy situation.
It must not lie dormant. It must be used constantly and frequently.
As you practice using the Word your faith and belief in the integrity of God's Word rises.
Keep at it! The Holy Spirit will provide you with the anointing to continue so you are not overpowered by your own negative thoughts; distressful situations; nor by other peoples' negative and doubt filled comments.
Jesus Christ is Lord of all and as such He is able to deal with every problem that besets mankind. Nothing is too hard for the Lord. Our lack of faith in His desire and ability and ultimately in His Word to achieve His victory in our lives is where things go astray. We must believe that Jesus and His Word are absolutely able to completely give us His victory in our lives and in particular healing we need.
We must spend time in prayer with the Lord so that we can know what we are to pray and how we are to pray. The Holy Spirit gives us the wisdom we need to have in our prayers even alerting us to specific verses from the Word of God that must be confessed over your particular situation.
It is important for each of us to spend time daily reading the Word; meditating on the Word and confessing the Word that God has given to us. We will then have an understanding of God's will and purposes in the problem at hand. Our faith increases as we diligently pursue God's Word.
The Word of God is not to be used as a type of crutch in conjunction with using medicine or medical procedures. It has to be our foundational method of healing. Certainly modern medical understandings can be a vital component in assisting our recovery but never as the chief basis for our healing. Hebrews chapter 11 verse 1 informs us that faith is the substance of things hoped for not some airy-fairy idea that just might help us. Our complete recovery comes by realizing that it is the Word of God that truly heals us. This does not mean that we abandon our pills or other medicine, unless God tells us to do so but it does mean that our real foundation for our healing is where our true healing lies. Medicine can be a wonderful adjunct to God's Word but never the foundational stone upon which our healing is built.

At the Temple "Gate Beautiful" lay a man lame from his mother's womb. He only lived day to day by begging alms. Peter and John told the man to look at them. He did so expecting to receive something. Peter told Aeneas he had nothing of material value to give him but Peter boldly spoke that in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth he was to rise up and walk.So he did so. he leaped up and walked into the Temple leaping and praising God. All the people saw him and were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Peter told them it was not them but God's power alone that had healed this man. It was in Jesus' name whom they had crucified, and faith in Jesus that this man had been made strong and had perfect soundness in the presence of you all. This wonderful passage of scripture is found in acts 3 verses 1 to 16
In 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 24 we learn about god's healing for His children in His atoning victory on the Cross. Here we learn that by His stripes we are healed.
everything that we do as part of God's will for our lives must be by faith. In Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6 we are explicitly told that without faith we cannot please God. We must first believe that He exists and diligently rewards ass those who believe in Him.
Healing is one of God's greatest rewards for believing in Him and what He alone achieved for us on the Cross of Calvary.
We learn that faith only comes by hearing God's Word and, of course, applying it to our life situations which includes healing. We find confirmation of this in Romans chapter 10 verse 17. faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
to obtain Godly or scriptural healing we must be willing to put our entire faith in God and His Word. Our faith for anything worthwhile, particularly our healing, grows as we put God's Word into every day practice in our lives.
First we need to read it regularly --up to two or three times a day or more. we must be willing to accept it as absolute truth. We read, in the Bible, that Jesus and His appointed apostles all believed in healing.
